14 歲開始，我便嘗試著創作。國三那年就拿到校內創作歌曲比賽第一名。15 歲赴美國學習理論作曲。這一路上吸收到非常多的知識。在 2004 年開始 a cappella 的編曲之後，更運用了在音樂系上學到的一切，完成許許多多的作品。很感恩的一件事就是，許多作品都受到肯定，包括 2004 第一屆台灣重唱歌曲創作大賽第三名（第一、 二名從缺）；2008 台灣國際重唱大賽最佳編曲獎；2010 台灣國際重唱大賽最佳創作獎以及最佳漢光編曲獎；2011台灣現代阿卡貝拉大賽最佳漢光編曲奬；2012 Vokal.total 國際阿卡貝拉大賽最佳編曲獎；2013 年，以創作曲“迢迢牽牛星” 獲得 “最佳世界音樂歌曲亞軍”。

I started writing music when I was 14.  The following year, I moved to the USA to study music composition until I finish university.  It was a great experience that set base to my a cappella arranging skill.  Since I started arranging in 2004, I’ve been fortunately enough to win several awards including, the 3rd Prize at the “2004 Taiwan Vocal Ensemble Composition Competition”; the Best Arrangement at the “2008 Taiwan International Contemporary A Cappella Festival”; “Best Composition” and “Best Han-Guang Arrangement” at the “2010 Taiwan Contemporary A Cappella Festival”; “Best Han-Guang Arrangement” at the “2011 Taiwan Contemporary A Cappella Festival”; “Best Arrangement” at the 2012 vokal.total. International A Cappella Competition, Graz, Austria”; “Best World/Folk Song runner-up” of “2013 CARA”.

Every song has a story.  Every score needs your support.  These stories will come alive through the notes, which will eventually touch someone’s heart through your voice.
